SCG ACTION REEL 2017
ABOUT THE TEAM
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Ricky started his martial arts training in his mid-20s in the army. He joined the US Army boxing team while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. During that time, Ricky developed a deep love for Japanese culture and its rich history in combat arts. This resulted in him training in Ken Wa Kan Karate-Do. After leaving the army, Ricky decided to take up modeling to learn the ins and outs of the entertainment business. He spent two years as a model then ventured into acting by doing background work.
Ricky studied under Lawrence Yip and learned the art of Film Combat. He currently holds a brown belt in Ken Wa Kan Karate-Do (a form of Kyokushin Karate), a white belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and trains under Lawrence Yip in Pradal Serey Kickboxing.
In the last two years, Ricky attended The School Conservatory of Dramatic Arts Summer Program, worked on few small budget films, and was featured in two major network shows. He looks forward to furthering his career as a stunt actor.
Tony is a Brooklyn native who has spent the last fifteen years training in a number of different systems and styles, including Wing Chun, Wushu, Kali, Jeet Kun Do, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. In combination with his artistic background and experience as a professional trainer, Tony has the know-how to ensure that students not only learn movement, technique, and concepts but are able to create a style of their own.
